- Howdy,
-
- Does anyone know of a 24 bit color card that will fit into a PDS
- adapter (not Nubus) on a Mac IIsi and drive a 16" screen? I have a Daystar
- Combocache IIsi, but I don't want to get rid of it to get 24bit color
- capability. Most cards out there seem to be Nubus, and the only two
- PDS cards I know of (SuperMac's Spectrum 8.24 PDQ si and VideoSigot si)
- are only capable of providing 24bit color on a 13" screen (640 by 480).
- They drop to 16 bit color on 16" screens and 8 bit on 19" screens.
-
- As long as I'm wishing, I'd like a PDS card that will support three
- resolutions (13", 16", and 19"), but the last one can be 8bit - I won't
- ask for everything... :-).
-
- Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. BTW, I don't have the
- monitor yet, so I'm not locked in there. Send replies directly to me if
- you like.
-
- Thanks,
-
- John
