I was recently involved in a test conducted by Seybold to test high-end film recorders. The test files (Quark documents, scanned images, and EPS files) were shipped on Bernoulli cartridges. We found this a little annoying at first as we did not have a drive. Seybold loaned us a drive for the test, and later offered it for sale at a nice discount. When I asked them why Bernoulli, they said that they are 2 MB larger and less prone to damage from rough handling.
Now, I don't agree with everything that Johnathan Seybold and Co. says, but in this case, I agree. We've used both Syquest and Bernoulli cartridges for a while and I've had about 4 Syquests go bad. But not one Bernoulli failure.
