- This may be a silly question, but since IBM supports OS/2 2.0 use on
- all their high end machines (70,80,90,95,etc.), is it safe to assume
- that these machines utilize the 16550 UART chip for serial ports on
- the motherboards since it is required for OS/2 2.0 high speed commo?
- If not, is the chip on the planar replacable with the 16550 or hard
- soldered?
