- These people really piss me off. Someone asks for a bandaid, and instead
- someone tells him to get his leg amputated and replaced.

- MCA is a superior architecture to EISA whether you like it or not. For
- most people (such as yourself) this is not important. The performance you
- get from EISA is quite satisfactory, especially if you have a bunch of ISA
- cards and one EISA SCSI controller, a pretty populat combination these
- days.

- Except for some weird stuff from IBM and Roland, the only mainstream
- MCA sound cards are the SB and SB PRO. I have an SB in my PS/2 70,
- and it works great. Granted, it is outdated (22KHz mono 8-bit is quite
- pathetic nowadays). MediaVision has no definite plans for an MCA version
- although their drivers are already configured to handle one (i.e. they
- have space reserved for detecting any future MCA cards).
