  13. Gee... just went to a local exhibition, here in the home of Creative
  14. technology.... to think the SB16 is out all over the world and Creative
  15. insists that all stocks are in the US and etc. and they dun have any for
  16. sale in Singapore.... YET. ! Geee...... talk about neglecting roots.
  17. Anyway.... saw this interesting new sound card by WEARNES..... it is a
  18.  8 bit sound card which is marketed in direct competition with the
  19. SBpro2. BUT.... it offers upgrade from daughtercards... to 16 bit
  20. sampling and playback.... MPU-401 compatible interface..... gee and all
  21. this for more then S$20 (US$1 = S$1.6) less then a pro2. One thing
  22. though.... this card is presently realsed only in Asia.... those
  23. overseas wun get it till next year....
  24. i took a listen to it and it seems quite impressive.... the sounds are
  25. not as noisy as my present Sbpro.... and the digitised speech from a WC
  26. demo seemed so much nicer then at home (mind u i connect my sbpro to a
  27. Hifi amp with BOSE AM-5 speakers.....and still dun get SOLID digitised
  28. speech).... but.... i dun know anything else about it.... the phamplet
  29. give out was rather brief.... Anyone out there seen this and care to
  30. comment ?
