  14. HI,
  15.     I have been upgradeing an XT to AT machine {Not an easy task}. I took 
  16. the original 10 MEG Tandon drive and put it with the AT contoller and set the
  17. whole machine up. We later upgraded to a 32MEG drive and As part of payment I
  18. get the 10MEG HD. Now I will be putting this back into a XT machine and will 
  19. need to know the correct steps to reformat and make the drive work with the 
  20. XT. It will not be as easy to do as an AT since there is no CMOS or AT 
  21. Diagonistics. I SURE that all the equipment that I will be using is IBM 
  22. original and will work. The HD card is a Full lenght card with the following
  23. Identifaction numbers:
  24.         IBM 1816101
  25.         IBM5004403
  26.         Made in the USA on MAY 16, '84.

  28. How would I format the drive? My guess would be the ROM VIA an address like
  29. c800:????. Anyone know? What interleave would be the best?
