- I recently picked up a Mitsumi 3.5" floppy drive at a trade show (new)
- but am having problems with it. It formats and reads high density disks
- OK, but it can't read disks formatted by other drives. I suspect it's
- an alignment problem but I hear that these new drives are now aligned
- on the software? There are some jumpers on the drive but I have no idea
- what they mean. The jumpers are labeled (0,1,2) [I guess this is the
- drive number], (L1, H1, H0) and (L0). Any ideas? Also, can somebody
- help me with decoding the jumper labels? The drive selection label
- looks like this:
- ___
- _|0|_
- |1 2|
- -----
-
- but the actual jumpers are in the traditional row format -> ::
- Which pins would I jumper if I want to set it to drive 0, for example?
-
- Thanks..
