- Yes, it's a standard SCSI interface, and yes, you can hang a hard drive from
- it. However, the transfer rate of the SCSI interface on the PAS cards is
- only about 690K (?) per second. That probably isn't a high enough throughput
- for a new SCSI drive. It does work, but the SCSI interface was probably
- intended for CD-ROM devices, most of which have a current transfer rate of
- 300K/sec or less.
