- Howdy hardware hounds,
-
- I recently purchased a Boca Research 24-bit true color VGA board for my
- PC. It does Windows nicely at 1024 X 768 X 256. I have wanted to try
- some true color fractals on it and I need an assembler function that
- can be called from a C program with the form:
-
- int putpuxel(int x, int y, unsigned char red, unsigned char green,
- unsigned char blue);
-
-
- Alternately, would it be possible to map the video RAM into my
- PC's address space so as to be able to do Warp Speed direct video
- writes?
-
- Is there anybody at Boca Research on the news reader?
- (This project would be a GREAT PROMOTIONAL TOOL!)
-
- Thanx, and Merry Christmas,
-
