  26. I don't know the exact cause of the slowness, but regardless of whose
  27. DOS you use, I've seen this on every 286 I've 'upgraded'. Maybe they
  28. did something with the 386 and 486 BIOSs to enhance hard disk access
  29. at the expense of floppy access?
