- Well, I think I was wrong saying that the monitor couldn't make noise.
- I spoke from my experience that a modem could squeal just like what
- Rob described.

- I think it's easy to check if it's the monitor's problem--turn off
- the monitor while keep the computer running. If the squealing noise
- disappears, then I was wrong. Otherwise, it might be the modem or
- PC's speaker that makes the noise.
