- Well, I don't know about Seagate ST3283A. But among all the HDs I've seen,
- WD2200 is the most noisy. If you are concerned about the quietness, better
- get something else.

- It's a long story. Briefly, the Maxtor HD was making faint clicking noise
- when the head was placed to some positions. It's not the sound of head
- moving. Instead, it's like the head was scatching the disk surface.
- I didn't wait for the HD's problem to rise, but returned it immediately.
- BTW, WD2200 is much faster than Maxtor 7213A. I'm happy that I made the
- switch.
