- Speaking of SCSI for the MAC & PC, I've recently bought a
- SCSI drive that was pulled from a MAC. It's a Quantum LPS240. I've
- never had a SCSI drive before, only IDE hard drives where you entered
- the setup info in the the hard drive tables stored in the CMOS RAM. I've
- just recently purchased a SCSI adaptor for this drive (it hasn't arrived yet),
- but I'm wondering how I would go about installing this drive. I'm told that
- the drive does not have setup information to be entered into the CMOS
- setup. How then is the drive recognized? Also, since the drive was in a
- Mac, I'll need to format it, right? Will DOS's FDISK and FORMAT do the
- job? Or is a low-level format required? Thanks for your help!
