- The TRUE transfer rate is very dependent on the disk geometry. Don't get
- fooled by marketing hype. I get a true rate of 1.3Mb/sec from a CDC Wren IV
- 307Mb disk drive. Calculating based on the number of sectors/track of the
- drive, and the rotational speed, this is exactly what it should be.
