- I read in a magazine article where the author opened up his power
- supply, unhooked the fan, then remounted it using some rubber or
- nylon washers. In his case, the fan was not balanced quite right
- (thy often aren't), and the power supply case, which was attached
- to the PC case was acting as a sounding board, and amplifying the
- sounds his fan made. After it was mounted differently, he said
- all the noise went away.

- I have never really had the urge to open the power supply in my PC
- though. :-) Of course, it you decide to do somehting like this,
- make _sure_ you unplug the PC.
