- Help! Does anyone know what value variable-resistors
- are required for the joysick port on an IBM PC?
-
- And, as an aside, can anyone give a good reason why
- they used open ended resistors, necessitating (SP?)
- particular value resistors, when a potentiometer
- setup (as in the good ol' BBC) would have
- been MUCH more sensible?
-
- Also, can 1280x1024 interlaced damage a 1024x768
- non-interlaced monitor? Obviously it can cope
- with the vertical resolution (interlaced = 1/2 the
- number of scanlines?), but what about the horiz res?
-
- Anyway, I'm off to work on a steering wheel and pedal
- setup for microprose grand prix!
