  26. Geez, sucker born every minute.  The main reason for this phenomenon, as
  27. far as I can tell, is the lack of education of students in how to use
  28. systems that are less intuitive than macintoshes.  Since the basic use
  29. of the mac is much more of a no-brainer than the basic use of a PC (say,
  30. for using Word 4.0/Mac or equivalent compared to using WFW 2.0 on top
  31. of Windows on top of DOS).  The loss, in this case, is the student's,
  32. because they end up using inferior hardware (not to mention outdated
  33. OS and software if it's a 1Mb Plus) when there's something much more
  34. powerful and much more effective available if only they knew how to use it.
