- And you will be wasting your monitor, even with a screen saver. I have
- only ever seen one monitor with a cooling fan (DG 6405), and those
- puppies get hot. Also, your hard drive is electro-mechanical and will
- wear out its bearings faster (I would hate to tell you how many hard
- drives I've had to spin up simply because they were left on 24 hrs/day,
- even weekends - then there is a storm Friday night and Monday morning
- the drive won't spin :-( ).

- I run my system when I'm using it, never leaving it more than about
- a half hour idle, and it runs better than any 24 hour system I've
- ever had to fix.
