  29. And you will be wasting your monitor, even with a screen saver. I have
  30. only ever seen one monitor with a cooling fan (DG 6405), and those
  31. puppies get hot. Also, your hard drive is electro-mechanical and will
  32. wear out its bearings faster (I would hate to tell you how many hard
  33. drives I've had to spin up simply because they were left on 24 hrs/day,
  34. even weekends - then there is a storm Friday night and Monday morning
  35. the drive won't spin :-( ).

  37. I run my system when I'm using it, never leaving it more than about
  38. a half hour idle, and it runs better than any 24 hour system I've
  39. ever had to fix.
