- I have a SBPro board that seems to have an intermittent problem of not being
- able to locate the DMA channel. I am using the factory defaults of address
- 220H, IRQ 7 and DMA 1. The testsbp program can detect the address and IRQ
- alright, but can only see the DMA channel now and then. The problem appeared
- apparently after I installed the Future Domain TMC850 SCSI board (with the
- Floptical BIOS), but stayed on even after I took out the SCSI card.
-
- Windows 3.1 also has problems trying to detect the SBPro and can locate it
- only occasionally.
-
- I'd be most grateful if any of you hardware wizs out there can explain what
- could possibly be happening here. Is it a common problem with SBPros or is
- it just my card? Could it be a problem with my motherboard?
-
- Thanks a zillion!
