  13. A friend of mine gave me the following list of pin assignments for
  14. connecting an
  15. external hard disk to his computer. He couldn't exactly describe what computer
  16. type it is (XT or AT), but only that it is a PC manufactured by Schneider. From
  17. somewhere he had heard that it should only be possible to connect a hard disk
  18. with a capacity of 20 MB.

  21. My question: Who can recognize simply from the pin assignment shown below which
  22.              type of hard disk it could be (it can't be an IDE-Interface
  23.              [= AT-Bus], because this should have 16 DATA lines)?
  24.              So possible is only ST506 (MFM), SCSI, ESDI or Schneider-special.
