- Hello,
- I posted the question a few weeks ago,
- and I haven't got any reponse yet.
- my question is about the upgrading RAM on XT/286.
- I have an XT and it has an 286 card.
- so it can do 16 bit process.
- the system board is the XT type,
- it has 4 banks: banks 1 and 2 have 64K each
- and banks 3 and 4 have 256K each.
- I wonder if I can replace the banks 1 and 2
- with 256K type RAM, so to bring the total to 1Mb
-
- any helps will be greatly appreciated.
