  14. I posted the question a few weeks ago,
  15. and I haven't got any reponse yet.
  16. my question is about the upgrading RAM on XT/286.
  17. I have an XT and it has an 286 card.
  18. so it can do 16 bit process.
  19. the system board is the XT type,
  20. it has 4 banks: banks 1 and 2 have 64K each
  21. and banks 3 and 4 have 256K each.
  22. I wonder if I can replace the banks 1 and 2
  23. with 256K type RAM, so to bring the total to 1Mb
  24.  
  25. any helps will be greatly appreciated.
