  19. I bought one yesterday *pride* :), it can run full screen provided the
  20. software supports that. There are basically 2 viewing programmes included,
  21. both run under Windows. One is WinVideo, that does not allow full screen mode
  22. (you can of course maximise the window, but you'll still see the menu bar).

  24. Then there's iPhoto Plus by U-Lead, a nice little enhancer prog. for still
  25. images. iPhoto Plus comes with a small extension (called VideoView or something
  26. similar) for grabbing images (instead of scanner drivers). It's similar to
  27. WinVideo's functions, but it has a full screen option. You can run VideoView
  28. alone as well.

  35. I run it in PAL not NTSC obviously ... You need to run a 640x480 VGA driver,
  36. no higher resolutions supported.

  38. It doesn't look bad, the best thing is that you have a 72 Hz non interlaced
  39. picture on a high resolution VGA monitor, so much better than your 60 Hz resp.
  40. 50 Hz interlaced. No visible flicker at all.

  42. On the other hand you have digitisation artefacts, which makes fast motions
  43. look "steppy". Looks similar to NTSC -> PAL converted videos. If you decrease
  44. the window size, you'll have artefacts concerning the resolution which
  45. makes small details vanish.

  47. Also the colours don't look quite right, but I've probably not yet found
  48. the optimal settings.
