  12.   In trying to get GNU groff 1.06 compiled for my HP, using GCC both
  13. as a C and C++ compiler and with standard HP libraries rather than
  14. libg++, I run into the following error message:

  16. ld: R_DATA_ONE_SYMBOL fixup in file env.o for code unsat symbol
  17. "abort" - use P' fixup
  18.  
  19.   If anyone knows what this means or can otherwise clue me in on how
  20. to avoid it so I can compile groff 1.06 without building libg++ (which
  21. is complex), please drop me a note.
