  13. Dear netters,
  14. We are having a problem using telnet to IBM from an HP 400
  15. running HP/UX 8.00.  The IBM is running KNET 3.1 via a 
  16. K200.
  17.  
  18. In insert mode misc. characters appear on the screen.  Setting
  19. echo to off seems to stop the characters but we do not know
  20. how to change the default echo value.

  22. The problem did not exist with HP/UX 7.05 on 400 series.
