  13. I hate to admit this, but I still have a VAXmate at home. I recently
  14. bought a Hard Card II XL 50 meg disk from Quantum and have been trying
  15. to install it, but with little success. I've tried altering the BIOS and
  16. I/O addresses but to no avail.

  18. Techniucal Support at Quantum have suggested that the power supply in
  19. the expansion box for the VAXmate is not powerful enough to drive two
  20. hard disks. I shall try disabling the original tonight to verify this.

  22. My question is, has anyone out there successfully tried this and if so,
  23. what did you do to get it to work?? Does anyone know if there is an
  24. alternative power supply I could install, either internally or
  25. externally? I should add that my budget is limited!
