- I'm not sure anyone has said this, so I will.

- You can get the X11R5 distribution from MIT and compile the Xdec server.
- Xdec will run on the machines with the HX graphics controller.
- However, it will be noticeably slower.

- We have one fellow here who just MUST run phigs, so he runs the Xdec server
- 'cause we're either too cheap or too principled to pay for the phigs H-kit.
- (I really don't understand how one TK50 and some docs can cost so much :-)
