  22. I have fixed the problem with my modem port.  As I had said in my earlier
  23. post, it _was not_ the software or the modem that was causing the problem!
  24. It was the 1489 Receiver chip that controls incoming data for the
  25. serial port!  (I want to thank Roger Sheppard for being able to
  26. help me with this problem!)
  27. I just went to Radio Shack, got a new one for $2us and I was back in
  28. business after about one hour!
