- I have fixed the problem with my modem port. As I had said in my earlier
- post, it _was not_ the software or the modem that was causing the problem!
- It was the 1489 Receiver chip that controls incoming data for the
- serial port! (I want to thank Roger Sheppard for being able to
- help me with this problem!)
- I just went to Radio Shack, got a new one for $2us and I was back in
- business after about one hour!
