- | Sorry Scott, but it looks like you don't have the brains to run LZH201L..:-)
- |
- Or maybe he has enough brains NOT to run it...
-
- | THe latest version is LZH201L, Note: i is before l...
- |
- He said he thought it was the latest version.
-
- | There is a option in LZH201L for problems with incompatible headers,
- | it the -k option.
- |
- | LZH201L will default to Directory extraction with out setting any options
- | at all...
- |
- Whereas ZOO has a clear help page built in which tells you what switches to
- use. Didn't you say a few days ago that Zoo has no way of extracting
- directory trees? It's all in the help page, Roger.
-
- And I really can't understand Scott's problem either. Here at University I
- have a copy of LHA on a Sun 4, which uncompresses all .lzh and .lha files
- I have ever come across. We also have ZIP, ARC and ZOO. They're foolproof.
- Anyone can use them. I only keep copies of all the different archivers
- because people can't agree on one to use. I have to admit though, that if
- I find a .lzh archive which I want to take home, I will always convert it
- to .zip format first (STZIP is a great program - choice of nice front end
- or command line flexibility).
-
- Get a life, people. Just use the archiver which suits you, and stop whinging.
