- Very true. A good example is Populous II, where you can switch to
- full screen mode. The game slows down incredibly on an 8mhz ST, and even
- flipping up to 16mhz doesn't speed things up that much. On the other
- habnd, has anyone else tried Vroom with an ADspeed? It's incredible.
- It's visually as fast as any arcade racing game I've ever seen.
- Virtually unplayable, but fun to try. This, of course, is because there
- are large pieces of the background that don't have to be updated.
