- Summary: How to change SCSI and LUN # on Supra 20 Mg hard drive
-
- I would like to change the SCSI and LUN # on my Supra 20 Mg hard drive.
- My father graciously bought me a ICD/Quatum drive to replace my destroyed
- Supra 60MG drive. Now I want to occasionally connect my 20Mg drive to
- my ICD/Quantum drive to backup my data. Does anyone know how to change
- the Supra drive so that I can boot with the ICD/Quantum drive and then
- later turn on the Supra 20Mg drive to backup some data?
-
- I have tried to use the software from Supra called "SUPEDIT" to change
- the DMA and LUN number but it never seems to work. When I try to change the
- parameters and execute the change, the program tells me the device descrided
- by the parameters that I chose is not responding.
-
- So, is it even possible to change these parameters on the hard drive?
- If not, I'll sell the drive. It works perfectly, but I don't have any
- need for it besides a backup drive.
