  24. But they are stealing from the true owners of the software, the people
  25. who wrote it. If you check your software (assuming any of its original)
  26. you'll probably find a licensing agreement on it, which you agreed to
  27. when you bought the software. And before we come out with the line about
  28. "Pirating only hurts the software companies, not the programmers, so
  29. that's why I do it", lets ask some of these programmers whether or not
  30. they'd like to give you a pat on the back for ripping of their work.

  37. he'd be thrilled to see what people are using the ideals of the Gnu 
  38. project to justify. Not.
