  20. If you're talking about pchrome3's gif function - it's not that execellent -
  21. apparently, it has a problem dealing with gifs that are smaller than 320x200 -
  22. a gif that is 200x200 will look like it has been "stretched" horizontally with
  23. equally-spaced vertical black bands "filling" in the necessary area to make
  24. a 320x200. If this 200x200 gif is "padded" with "black space" on either side
  25. to make it a 320x200 then the gif function of pchrome3 works fine.

  27. One thing that is odd, the "raw function" seems to handle these smaller sizes
  28. up to a point - I have given it some very skinny raw files (like 80x200) which
  29. locks up the program.

  31. All in all, pchrome3 is the BEST display program yet for the ST - they just need
  32. to work out a few kinks.
