  21. It's funny, but we write a great deal (read most) of our documentation using
  22. Qedit... why? Because, like all of these wonderful interface-driven
  23. packages, neither Word nor WordPerfect is stable enough.

  25. Just tonight, I had to help rescue my boss from word being absolutely
  26. certain that there wasn't enough memory to move the _cursor_, let alone drop
  27. down a menu, with two documents loaded. One 90K long, the other about 3.  On
  28. a 2M machine, with ~610K free to DOS.

  30. This is a 'leading wordprocessor that everyone on the atari would love to
  31. have.' Not.

  33. As usual, too much time was spent making them look 'pretty' so that
  34. brainless salespeople could sell it to brainless executives and the like,
  35. and not enough making them _work_.

  37. My girlfriend recently calamized her mother's wedding invitations and order
  38. of service.  The latter ran to over a megabyte as a document, and the priest
  39. wanted to know which agency produced and printed them so that he could
  40. recommend them to future couples.  A hacked 520ST and a BJ330.
