- Re: security program
-
- well... one drawback... pressing [BREAK] will simply abort the loading
- of the program (if done at the proper time) and get you into DOS, hence,
- it's useless..
-
- unless of course you make a program that "hides" all the files, and load
- it up everytime you "shut down" the computer. Then when you boot it back
- up, only entering the proper security code will make the files "visible."
-
- I'm mainly guessing about the [BREAK] thing, but it seems logical (it
- work in all AUTORUNning DOSes (Atari, MyDOS, etc.))
-
- Also, I'm not sure how simple hiding files (ie, erasing the disk dir) is,
- esp. in SpartaDOS...
-
- and you'd also have to have a file somewhere to copy back onto
- the disk dir..
-
-
- get it?
-
- hmm
