- I don't think I ever said that...non-reentrancy gets in the way of some
- things, but not a Macintosh-style MultiFinder, which does context switching
- in specific cooprative ways (basically, inside calls to GetNextEvent).

- Non-arbitrated system resources are more of a problem (like the RAM on
- the sound chip). It's also a problem when applications don't take advantage
- of arbitration when it's available--which would often mean just doing them
- using the toolbox instead of behind its back.
