- The problem is, I don't know what settings to use for the //c+.
- The settings that came with the modem are for an IBM and they give custom
- setting variables..i had no problem configuring it to my vt220 terminal
- i use to dial into this vax, but i can't get it to work.
- What happens is it will allow me to type commands into it, i can tell
- they're getting to the modem cuz when i atz, the modem resets, when idial
- the modem dials etc. I can watch the lights when i dial into the vax and they
- are flickering as usual where they are supposedto be flickering.
- The problem is, i think it might be the cable. What specific wiring
- do i need to hook a modem up to a //c+? Also, do i need a custom wire
- to connect the modem to a super serial card on a //e? for carrier detect?
- I remember reading that i would need a custom for the //c+ for the bbs
- i run on my //e (or was running)... somewhere in the docs it said about
- the custom cable for the //e and //c+...but i can't find the docs now...
