- Well, which adapter are you looking for? You will need one that connects to
- the back of the LC and converts that funky plug into a disk connector and
- a joystick port.
-
- Then you will need a cable that replaces the one on your disk ][ and
- converts the 20 pin connector to a 19 pin connector. This part is
- available from Quality Computers (geez, I can't even remember the
- number off the top of my head anymore). The former part number was
- C-DRIVE-19 (it's cross referenced, so you should be able to just tell
- the order-taker that part over the phone). I think it cost under $20.
-
- One last thing, though. I have never successfully connected a Disk ][
- to the LC IIe card. Heck, I've never even tried it. It may work, but
- it may not. If you know of someone who has gotten this to work, then
- go for it.
-
- One last note, if someone has gotten this to work and you try it and it
- doesn't work... try adjusting the speed on your disk drive. I remember
- that the LC/IIe requires the 5.25 disk speed to be slightly slower than
- what is acceptable on the IIe or II GS.
-
- Good luck!
