  17. I have similar problems with System 6.  Applications (especially the 
  18. Finder) crash often, and occasionally I get corrupted files.  Sometimes 
  19. I'm working in the Finder and suddenly lots of files appear to have 
  20. weird names with strange characters in them.  When this happens if I reboot
  21. immediately usually the system is back to normal.

  23. I have tried to track this down, including removing DAs etc., checking
  24. my memory (4 megs on a GS Juice +), and reinstalling the system.  It still 
  25. happens.  The only thing I can think of is that it has something to do with 
  26. my InnerDrive 40 MB hard disk.  Maybe the driver is incompatible or 
  27. something.  However I never had this problem with System 5.0.4, and I've 
  28. tried removing the InnerDrive driver and letting GS/OS generate its own, 
  29. but the crashes still happen.

  31. Hopefully the problem will be fixed in System 6.0.1.
