- $00 to $80? Are you sure about that? That would introduce a serious
- click into the sound if it was a single $00 byte. Filtering zeros
- should convert them into $01.

- If the original sound contained something like $04 $03 $02 $01 $00 $01
- $02 $03 $04, you don't want the $00 leaping up to half scale ($80).
