- The keys are the interplatform standards - x, c, and v. X cuts (and stores
- the clipped text in the buffer), c copies the text to the buffer, and v
- pastes the buffer text into the console (or whatever) at the insertion point.

- The control key you need when holding these down, however, isn't standardized
- across platforms. On the Mac, it's the Apple key. On the PC, it depends
- entirely what you're using, since the PC doesn't have any peculiar control
- keys (not having been designed to run a GUI). On the NeXT, it's the command
- key. On the Amiga, it's the open Amiga key, or "right command".
