  19. harddisk installation (this means the file must be in the current
  20. directory.)  On a floppy disk installation you should specify the entry
  21. to use KingFisher-1:Name.Index -- this may require removing the .doc files
  22. from that volume if you kept them there.

  34. KingFisher only writes to the .config file information that it knows about.
  35. If this entry is missing then it was missing from the original, too.  My
  36. guess would be a typo.  Find the line 'FishIndexFile=Fish.Index' and model
  37. the 'NameIndexFile=Name.Index' after that one.  One will follow the other
  38. in the .config file when everything is ok.

  40. Another important bit is that you perform the fix to the database, either
  41. by hand or using the FixKFData program supplied with version 1.1 -- without
  42. this fix, the program may continue to experience problems relating to the
  43. Name index.
