- AR>My a1000 keyboard seems to slowly be dying (I have already had to
- AR>replace one of the keys, and it looks like another might be on the way
- AR>soon). Is it possible to build an adapter to use the a2000 keyboard
- AR>with it (I would probably by a Northgate Omnikey, which says that it
- AR>works with the a2000). This one just doesn't have the life left in it.

- yep , all you need is a phone jack to din adapter and the pin out of both
- connectors ( which I am sure SOMEONE out here would be glad to give you .
- signals are the same , just mixed

- AR>Finally, has anyone tried the bynery hack, and had good luck with it. I
- AR>am considering using it to get an old mfm drive working in my a1000.
- AR>Does the guy who designed it still sell the extended drivers (so that
- AR>you can get more than 10megs out of a disk), or will I have to hack his
- AR>free drivers.
- or you might go for the SCSI adapter in the AC's tech . if you can find an
- SCSI to St506 adapter , you could even use that MFM drive of yours .
-
-
- I have not tried the BYNERY specifically but I had at one time an ALF then
- a PALOMAX , which are the same idea but commercial .
