- Maybe your +12v supply cant supply enough current when the drive
- spins up. Remember, Hard Drives require a lot of current when
- first started. The level drops considerably when its up to speed.
- Check the documentation for the drive in question. Look for the
- spin up current rating. It could be specified at 1 Amp or more.
