  15. I am an Amiga 500 user and I enjoy the amiga very much.  I have a problem though
  16. What am I going to do about upgrading?  I would like to have the best possible
  17. for the least possible.  Let me clairify things.

  19. At first I wanted a 2000 but oh well there not made any more.
  20. At this point I have know idea what to do.  HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!

  22. The Amiga 1200 is not the answer either.  There is no box to put stuff in.
  23. The cost of the 1200 and a box is not effective either.

  25. My real question is is the 3000 still being made and if not 
  26. would it be worth my money to buy one.

  28. Here in Bill Clinton land it is hard enough to get software never
  29. mind any accurate information.

  31. The only thing that I have been able to find out is that the 3000
  32. as everyone knows has a 030 chip in it and dose have card u
  33. ungrades instead of chips.  This is all fine and dandy but what do 
  34. I do? Do I wait for the price of the 4000 to come down?  right
  35. now it is not cost effective for me to buy a 4000 when I can get
  36. a 3000 for $1500.

  38. Another problem I have is with compatibility of 3.0 What is the deal
  39. with commodore changing there operating system every couple of years
  40. and not making it downwardly compatible?  I already have two commodores
  41. and am running both my old C64 and my 500 just so I can use software
  42. that I paid good money for.  What next add a 3000 to my desk then a 
  43. 4000 or if commodore changes again what? a 6000? I am sooooooo confused

  47. Also are there any rumors spreading about a trade-up offer from 
  48. commodore for their new systems?

  50. I don't want to loose the abilities of my amiga or any other amiga
  51. but if commodore dosen't figure itself out I may have to go to 
  52. an IBM and always have compatibility.
