- Well....I have version 1.03 of ViewTek and that (and multiview) was what I
- was referring to when I said I COULD NOT get an 800x600 screen to open for
- 800x600 images. If anyone out there has actually gotten VT (or any other
- viewer) to open up that size screen, please let me know.
-
- Since I have my own view about what I want in a viewer, I will still quite
- probably write my own (although whether it will be slick enough to release
- is anybody's guess). So, where can I get the Includes and Autodocs for WB
- 3.0? Also, I realize that some of the very high res modes (1024x768, 1280x
- 1024 etc.) could not reasonably be reached with a 35ns pixel clock, does
- anyone out there know how to go about programming (in a VERY system friendly
- way) the new chips for custom screen dimensions? I understand this is very
- possible. I really intend on converting the 1024x768 images to either
- 512x768 or 1024x384 and converting 1280x1024 to 1280x512 on the fly (divide
- by 2 is just a shift after all) for viewing. I would just like to be able
- to open up screens of those resolutions only (oh, I realize they'll be
- interlace) without overscan to waste what little bandwidth remains.
