- There seem to be at least two utilities now that handle AGA animation:
- ViewTek, and the newest PPShow. Both are freely distributable.

- I did some tests with each one, and it seems that PPShow shows AGA
- animations *radically* faster than VT does. From viewing them, it seems
- like there is roughly a 4 to 6X speed difference between the two.
- PPShow could display my 640x400xHAM8 animation at about 4 FPS, and VT
- could not even manage 1 FS. Similar results for lower resolutions, and
- PPShow also handles palette changes between frames.

- On the other hand, VT displays more still image types than PPShow does,
- so it is plenty worth having.
