- I'm curious if anyone else has trouble xprkermit and xprvms hanging
- frequently. Kermit hangs everytime I try to kill a remote server with
- finish or bye. I usually just download something and then cancel it
- which shuts down the server for me--sometimes:(. Sometimes VMS and
- Kermit just hang after I attempt a transfer. VMS doesn't do it as
- frequently as Kermit does, but since neither of them respond to abort
- of skip file request I have to reboot everytime.
-
- My crc is always set to 3 and my send and receive packets are always
- set to 1000 both locally (in term2.4 but it did it in earlier versions
- too) and on the kermit server. I've read the kermit and VMS docs and
- the only thing I could think was that the receive and send delay
- (Timeouts) weren't Kosher, but they are set the same on both sides.
-
- Anyway so is there any undocumented way to shutdown uploads or
- downloads when they are initiated and are not connecting right? The
- gadgets on my transmission windows don't effect any response.
- yoroshiku, ne... :)
