  10. I'm curious if anyone else has trouble xprkermit and xprvms hanging
  11. frequently.  Kermit hangs everytime I try to kill a remote server with
  12. finish or bye.  I usually just download something and then cancel it
  13. which shuts down the server for me--sometimes:(.  Sometimes VMS and
  14. Kermit just hang after I attempt a transfer.  VMS doesn't do it as
  15. frequently as Kermit does, but since neither of them respond to abort
  16. of skip file request I have to reboot everytime.

  18. My crc is always set to 3 and my send and receive packets are always
  19. set to 1000 both locally (in term2.4 but it did it in earlier versions
  20. too) and on the kermit server.  I've read the kermit and VMS docs and
  21. the only thing I could think was that the receive and send delay
  22. (Timeouts) weren't Kosher, but they are set the same on both sides.

  24. Anyway so is there any undocumented way to shutdown uploads or
  25. downloads when they are initiated and are not connecting right?  The
  26. gadgets on my transmission windows don't effect any response.
