- The last time I posted to this group about this question, I got some
- nice replies and suggestions. Unfortunately, none of them panned out. ;-)
- My question involved finding a Amiga communications program that
- emulated a specific terminal--a VT240 or VT340--because I needed graphics
- capability (Regis graphics capability). At BSU, a fair number of courses use
- these types of terminals to administer tests, for example, using a system
- called CAS - Courseware Authoring System.
- People mentioned that TERM had a emulation routine for VT340, so I got
- the ROM upgrade I needed to run TERM, downloaded it, and set it up.
- Unfortunately, the "external" VT340.library does not appear to do graphics. If
- I have somehow overlooked this, I'd most certainly welcome the correct way to
- set it up.
- I know there are at least two such terminal emulation programs for the
- Macintosh, (one is a commercial package that is used in some of the computer
- labs on campus). Another frequently used program for the IBM is Reflection 4.
- Both programs seem to do quite a nice job.
- Is there no such product for the Amiga, commercially developed or in
- the public domain?
