- progress, any type of menuing on another screen will shoot term down.
- I've seen windows that call a forbid/permit pair do the same thing,
- right upon close. Is your code extremely time-sensitive, referring
- now to your various processes? Perhaps the short time it takes to
- call a Forbid/Permit pair is just enough to throw term for a loop
- thinking that since a slave isn't replying or something in time that
- something isn't right, and the transfer is aborted???
