  15. I'm not exactly sure what's causing it.  When a transfer is in
  16. progress, any type of menuing on another screen will shoot term down.
  17. I've seen windows that call a forbid/permit pair do the same thing,
  18. right upon close.  Is your code extremely time-sensitive, referring
  19. now to your various processes?  Perhaps the short time it takes to
  20. call a Forbid/Permit pair is just enough to throw term for a loop
  21. thinking that since a slave isn't replying or something in time that
  22. something isn't right, and the transfer is aborted???
