  12. A friend of mine has this card in his 2000, and has the following problem.

  14. He tries to open a shell to SER1: (1-8, doesn't matter) and he gets a
  15. requester saying the printer is not ready.
  16.  
  17. If he tries the same with AUX1:, he gets a CLI prompt on the printer.
  18.  
  19. He uses NEWCLI AUX1: (or SER1:, etc..)
  20.  
  21.  
  22. He has the serial card disk mount installed, serial.device, port-handler.
  23. He has all of the things mounted (SER1: - SER8:, same with AUX) and has
  24. no problem mounting them..

  27. His printer is PARALLEL, and set to that in preferences..

  30. We have tried everything to get this to work..  I know there is SOMEONE
  31. out there who has this board and has done this.
  32.  
  33. I will post file sizes of mount, serial.device, port-handler, etc, if
  34. needed (for validation on the version), or whatever additional information
  35. is required..
